Part 2 (Final): “I Opened It Anyway”

“you’re_next.mp4”

My hands were shaking.

Every instinct told me to stop.

But I didn’t.

I clicked it.

The video started immediately.

No loading this time.

No delay.

It was a room.

Dark.

Silent.

At first, I didn’t recognize it.

Then my stomach dropped.

It was my apartment.

The angle…

From the corner of the ceiling.

Facing the exact spot where my bed is.

The timestamp?

3:12 AM — Last Night

I couldn’t breathe.

I skipped forward.

There I was.

Sleeping.

Completely unaware.

Then…

The door opened.

Just like I heard it.

Slow.

Silent.

Someone walked in.

Same thing as before.

No face visible.

Just a shadow.

Step by step.

Closer to my bed.

I was watching myself sleep…

While something stood over me.

I paused the video.

My entire body felt cold.

Then I noticed something I missed.

In the reflection of my TV screen…

You could almost see a face.

Not clearly.

But enough.

And I recognized it.

It was him.

The man who sold me the PC.

But that made no sense.

He was missing.

Gone.

Unless…

I kept watching.

The figure leaned down.

Right next to my ear.

And then the video cut.

I sat there in silence.

Trying to process it.

Trying to make sense of something that didn’t make sense.

Then the screen flickered.

A new clip started playing automatically.

No file name.

No timestamp.

Just live footage.

From the same camera angle.

My room.

Right now.

I slowly turned my head toward my bedroom door.

And that’s when I realized something I hadn’t noticed before.

The door…

Was slightly open.

I live alone.

I never leave it open.

The video on the screen showed the same thing.

The same angle.

The same open door.

Then—

Movement.

The door creaked.

Just a little more.

On the screen…

And in real life.

At the same time.

I couldn’t move.

Couldn’t think.

Couldn’t breathe.

A shadow appeared in the doorway.

And just before the screen went black…

I heard a voice.

Not from the PC.

Right behind me.

Whispering:

“You opened it.”
